Establishment of the Committee
The High Organizing Committee for the 15th edition of the Arab Sports Games was established by Executive Decree No. 23-177, dated 6 Shawwal 1444, corresponding to April 26, 2023.
Roles of the Committee
The committee is responsible for the technical and logistical preparations for the sports competitions, as well as the cultural and scientific events scheduled in the program of the 15th edition of the Arab Sports Games, which will take place in Algeria from July 5th to July 15th.
Composition of the Committee:
The committee, headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports, is composed of one representative from each ministry and authority as follows:
- Ministry of National Defense,
- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad,
- Minister of Interior, local collectivities, and Territory planning,
- Minister of Finance,
- Minister of Culture and Arts,
- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,
- Minister of Post and Telecommunications,
- Minister responsible for Housing, Urban Planning, and the City,
- Minister of Communication,
- Minister of Transportation,
- Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts,
- Minister of Health,
- National Gendarmerie Command,
- General Directorate of National Security,
- General Directorate of Civil Protection,
- General Directorate of Customs.
Additionally, the committee includes:
- Representatives from the governors of all the relevant Wilayas concerned with the games,
- Representatives from the central administration and institutions under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports,
- Directors of Youth and Sports in the Wilayas concerned with the games,
- Representatives from the National Olympic Committee,
- Representatives from the federations and national sports associations involved in the games,
- The Public Establishment of Television (EPTV),
- The National Sound Broadcasting Company (ENRS),
- The National Office of Culture and Information,
- The national publishing, communication and advertising enterprise (ANEP),
- The International Press Centre (CIP).
Specialized Committees:
The specialized committees are tasked, each in its respective area, with studying, proposing, and implementing all necessary tasks for the preparation, organization, and conduct of the Fifteenth Arab Sports Games, as well as preparing the final report of their activities.

- Protocol, Accreditation, and Technology Committee
- Administration, Finance, and Volunteers Committee
- Accommodation, Catering, and Transportation Committee
- Sports Organization, Facilities, and Equipment Committee
- Security and Food Defense Committee
- Health, Hygiene, and Anti-Doping Committee
- Media, Communication, Sponsoring, Marketing, and Advertising Committee
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Cultural, and Entertainment Activities Committee
