The 5th of July, 1962 Stadium,  the designated venue for the opening and closing ceremonies.

The July 5th, 1962 Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in the municipality of Dali Ibrahim in the capital city. It was named in commemoration of Algeria’s independence day on July 5th, 1962. The stadium is part of the Mohamed-Boudiaf Olympic Complex and has a seating capacity of over 70,000 spectators. It was inaugurated in 1972.

The stadium has been the venue for various events and has witnessed remarkable achievements in Algerian football, including the national football team’s gold medal in the Mediterranean Games in 1975, the gold medal in the African Games in 1978, and the victory in the Africa Cup of Nations in 1990. It has also been the stage for the outstanding performances of Algerian clubs on the continental level.

Additionally, the stadium features an athletics track and has hosted numerous competitions in track and field events. It has been designated to host the opening and closing ceremonies of the upcoming 2023 Arab Games.

La Coupole (The Oval Hall), located within the Mohamed-Boudiaf Olympic Complex, is a multi-sport arena with a seating capacity of approximately 5,500 spectators. It was constructed in 1975 and is distinguished by its unique oval shape. The hall hosts various team sports competitions, such as handball, basketball, and volleyball, along with individual competitions like judo, karate, and gymnastics. It is truly a masterpiece and will be the venue for judo, karate, and wrestling competitions during the upcoming Arab Games.

Hassan Harsha Hall… Volleyball Cycle.

The  Harsha Hassan Hall, located in the city centre of Algiers, is a multi-sport hall established in 1975 with a capacity of about 8,000 seats. And it embraced a lot of sports events in basketball, volleyball and handball. The National Handball Team has twice been crowned the Africa Cup in this hall. It has also embraced many international sporting dates in group or individual games.

  It will be dedicated to volleyball competitions during the 2023 Arab Games.
